How to Install and replace the air filter cartridges correctly？

A cartridge dust collector is a dry dust removal device that uses filter cartridges as filtering elements to separate fine dust from air flow. 

As a key component of the entire equipment, filter cartridges directly affect dust removal efficiency.

Function of Dust Filter Cartridges:

They block particulate matter in the air through the tiny breathable structure formed on the filter material surface. 

Combined with the filter cartridge’s filtration area, as well as the air volume and wind speed of the dust removal pipeline, 

the collector separates various waste smoke, gas and dust to achieve air purification.

1. When to Replace Filter Cartridges?

• Dust can be seen escaping from the air outlet.

• Severe dust accumulation is found on the filter cartridge surface when the collector is opened.

2. What is the Filter Cartridge Replacement Cycle?

• The normal service life of a filter cartridge ranges from 3,000 to 4,000 hours.

• It is determined by the dust volume under different working conditions: Replace every 1 to 3 months in heavy dust environments;

  replace every 6 months to 1 year in low dust environments.

3. How to Extend Filter Cartridge Service Life?

• Perform offline ash cleaning at least twice a day in accordance with working conditions.

• Inspect and clean accumulated dust on filter cartridges weekly.

Precautions for Filter Cartridge Replacement

• Filter cartridges are made of folded filter materials of different types and are prone to damage from external pressure. 

Handle them with care during replacement—do not tap or drop them to avoid damage and air leakage. When replacing dirty cartridges, 

move gently to prevent dust from spreading. Before installing new cartridges, clean up scattered dust in the filter chamber thoroughly.

• No auxiliary tools are required for replacement.

 First, open the clamping device of the collector’s access door; after replacing the filter cartridge, re-clamp it securely.

 Do not disassemble or discard used dirty cartridges randomly. Prepare garbage bags in advance, put the replaced dirty cartridges into the bags,

 and transport them for disposal to reduce pollution to the surrounding environment.
