How to Control Mine Dust?

The main challenge in mine machinery dust management is preventing dust escape. Using a mine baghouse dust collector to suck dust creates a negative pressure inside the crusher. 

The air pressure difference between the inside and outside of the crusher drives air to enter the crusher through gaps and conveying channels from the outside.

 The dusty air flow, formed by mixing moving air and a large amount of dust generated by the crusher, is sucked into the dust collector. After purification, clean air is discharged.

• Working Principle of Mine Baghouse Dust Collectors

A mine baghouse dust collector consists of an upper box, middle box, ash hopper, support, filter bag assembly, pulse cleaning mechanism, ash discharge valve, etc. 

It adopts a design concept of high air volume and low air speed.

When dusty gas enters the ash hopper from the lower air inlet pipe of the dust collector through the deflector, coarse dust falls into the ash hopper due to the collision of the deflector and the reduction of gas speed. 

The remaining fine dust particles enter the filter bag chamber with the gas. Due to the inertia, diffusion and other effects of filter material fibers and fabrics, dust is retained outside the filter bags.

 The purified gas escapes from the bags and is discharged through the exhaust pipe.

• Equipment Performance Advantages

• Enhanced Ash Cleaning: Equipped with a pulse injection device, it has strong ash cleaning capacity. Under an injection pressure of 0.2～0.3MPa, good ash cleaning effect can be achieved for various highly adhesive dusts.

• Low Equipment Resistance: The operating resistance can be stably maintained in the range of 900～1500Pa for a long time, significantly lower than other types of baghouse dust collectors.

• High Dust Removal Efficiency: Normally, the dust emission concentration is below 50mg/Nm³; in occasions with special requirements, it can be lower than 10mg/Nm³.

• Easy Bag Replacement: Filter bags are embedded with tube sheet holes through elastic expansion rings at the bag mouth, featuring good sealing effect and easy disassembly.

•  This reduces bag replacement workload and contact between maintenance personnel and dust.

• Online/Offline Ash Cleaning Modes: According to operating conditions and user requirements, the equipment can realize two modes: online ash cleaning and offline ash cleaning.
