In the food processing industry and biotechnology field, dust control is crucial. A client at a food factory in Henan province experienced dust generation during the crushing and sieving of raw materials in their food production process. This directly affected product quality and employee health, thus requiring efficient dust removal equipment.
Equipment Parameters
The client already has a primary cyclone dust collector on site, and our company undertook the secondary dust collection project.
The emission requirement for this project is 5 mg/m³. Based on the client's needs and site conditions, we designed two pulse-jet cartridge dust collectors for them.
• Airflow up to 50,000 m³/h, meeting the needs of large-scale production.
• Equipped with 80 filter cartridges, providing a filtration area of 810 square meters. It uses 325*660 coated filter cartridges with a filtration accuracy of 2μm and a filtration efficiency of up to 99.9% (≥2.0μm).
• The equipment has a pressure rating of 6000 Pa and a resistance of only 1200 Pa, ensuring stable and energy-efficient operation.
• Compressed air consumption is 1 Nm³/min, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning of the filter cartridges.

Equipment Introduction
The cartridge dust collector is a dust collector composed of filter cartridges as the filtering element.
Its structure consists of an inlet and outlet, upper housing, ash hopper, cleaning device, airflow distribution plate, filter cartridges, and electrical control device (pulse control device).
Additional equipment includes a discharge valve, flexible connection, and mobile ash collection cart. It has advantages such as small size, high efficiency, low investment, and easy maintenance.
It is widely used in cement, steel, power, food, metallurgy, chemical and other industrial fields.

Equipment Working Principle
The principle of the pulse cartridge dust collector is to use a pulsed airflow blowing method. A flow guiding device is added to the pulse blowing pipe to enhance the airflow induction effect.
On the other hand, the upper airflow guiding pipe of the filter cartridge is removed, allowing the pulsed airflow and induced airflow to fully enter the filter cartridge simultaneously.
This results in lower air consumption, more uniform airflow, and better cleaning effect for the pulse cartridge dust collector.
