Whether you are using steel shot, grit, aluminum oxide, crushed glass, garnet, coal slag, or numerous other blast media your process makes dust. Dust in the air is harmful to your employees and slows down efficiencies.
Our LEFILTER Dust Collectors have been installed for many abrasive blasting operations, including both wheel blast and air blast rooms. Abrasion-resistant plenums and ultra-high efficiency filter media work to increase the life of your dust collector filter.

GRANITE BLASTING Dust Collection
Activities such as grinding, cutting, routing, drilling, chipping, or polishing granite and other stone materials containing crystalline silica can create airborne dust. These types of activities are conducted by companies such as stone countertop manufacturers and granite monument/headstone manufacturers. The silica dust particles created by these activities can cause the potential for health hazards to workers. OSHA regulations state that employers must protect workers from hazardous dust levels and particles that may be generated from the blasting material, and no employee is to be exposed to an airborne concentration of silica in excess of the PEL of 50 μg/m3 calculated as an 8-hour TWA (total weight average).
LEFILTER Dust Collectors has dust collection equipment to fit your granite blasting application needs and help clear the air, creating a healthier and safer working environment. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
