Project Problem:
A pharmaceutical factory's traditional Chinese medicine residue drying furnace production line generates flue gas with high dust concentration, high moisture content, high emission points, and a wide pollution range. Based on the site conditions, the Liefert EPC project team designed the following specific solution:

Filtration Process: When dust-laden gas enters the ash hopper from the bottom of the housing, the sudden expansion of the airflow cross-sectional area reduces the flow velocity, causing some coarser and denser dust particles to settle in the ash hopper under gravity.
Low-density dust particles enter the baghouse dust collector and, through a combination of inertia, collision, sieving, interception, and electrostatic effects on the filter bag surface, settle to form a dust layer.
The purified gas enters the clean air chamber and is discharged from the exhaust pipe by a fan.
Cleaning Process: When the pulse valve opens, compressed air from the air tank is ejected through the pulse valve and small holes in the blowpipe, creating a high-speed, high-pressure jet of airflow towards the filter bag opening.
This forms an induced airflow several times the volume of the jet airflow, which enters the filter bag, generating instantaneous positive pressure and causing rapid expansion within the bag.
Dust deposited on the outside of the filter bag falls into the ash bin, achieving the purpose of cleaning.
