How to Maintenance of Self-Cleaning Air Filters?
Maintenance centers on filter cartridges, dust cleaning systems, seals, air sources and overall cleaning, following on-line regular checks & off-line in-depth maintenance to ensure efficiency,
prevent dust leakage and extend service life. Specifics are condensed as follows:
1. Daily Checks (No shutdown, daily/per shift)
Verify normal control panel display, 0.4~0.6Mpa stable backflushing pressure and no alarms
Check no dust leakage, air leakage, abnormal noise or severe vibration on equipment and pipelines
Confirm normal pulse solenoid valve action and unblocked nozzles via manual cleaning trigger
Drain condensed water and oil from air storage tank and air source processor timely
2. Regular Inspections (Weekly/monthly, partial online)
Visual check: intact filter cartridges without dust caking; well-sealed gaskets and rubber strips with no dust leakage
Tighten all connecting bolts; ensure no blockage/misalignment of nozzles and intact venturi tubes
Clean and calibrate dust-free differential pressure sensors; check non-loose/non-oxidized electrical terminals
Remove accumulated dust around equipment and air inlet; verify unblocked protective net
3. In-Depth Maintenance (Quarterly/semi-annually, shutdown & pressure relief)
Filter cartridges: Offline back-blow (≤0.28Mpa air, nozzle ≥25mm away) or special cleaning; replace damaged/aged ones and install tightly
Dust cleaning system: Disassemble and clean all components; replace aging seals and air source filter elements; test and stabilize backflushing pressure, seal air leakage
Structure & seal: Replace all aging sealing parts; tighten bolts; repair deformed/cracked cylinder and damaged welds
Electrical system: Recalibrate sensors; optimize cleaning parameters; replace faulty valves, timers and displays; verify normal PLC operation
4. Filter Cartridge Replacement (Key link)
Service life: 1~2 years (normal conditions); 6~12 months (high dust/humidity/viscosity); replace immediately if differential pressure over standard
Pre-replacement: Shutdown, power off, pressure relief and clean residual dust
Use original matching cartridges; conduct seal test before startup
5. Special Working Condition Maintenance
High dust: Increase cleaning/blowdown frequency, shorten cartridge maintenance cycle
High humidity/viscosity: Adopt anti-adhesion/moisture-resistant cartridges; increase pulse width and clean regularly
Low temperature: Add heating/insulation for air source parts; increase blowdown to prevent freezing
Desert/outdoor: Install wind-sand net at air inlet and clean dust regularly
6. Maintenance Taboos
No high-pressure water rinsing for filter cartridges and electrical parts
No backflushing pressure exceeding 0.6Mpa
No disassembly of parts under pressure
No non-original cartridges, seals or solenoid valves
No long-term accumulation of condensed water in air storage tank
7. Records & Management
Establish a maintenance ledger to record all check, replacement, parameter adjustment and fault handling data.
Optimize maintenance cycle by on-site conditions and analyze operation rules for early fault detection.
