Why Must High-Temperature Resistant Dust Filter Bags Be Selected for Biomass Boiler Dust Collectors, and PPS Dust Filter Bags Are the First Choice?
Biomass boiler flue gas (120-180℃, up to 200℃ for short periods, high humidity ≥70%, slight corrosion) requires high-temperature resistant bags, with PPS as the first choice.
High-temperature bags are mandatory: ordinary polyester (≤130℃) is damaged by high temperatures, absorbs moisture, and is corroded by sulfur dioxide, leading to failure. High-temperature/moisture/corrosion-resistant bags ensure stable operation.
PPS is preferred for three reasons:
1. Excellent high-temperature resistance: stable at 160-180℃ (short-term 200℃), with better toughness than glass fiber bags.
2. Good corrosion/moisture resistance: resists acid/alkali gases, does not absorb moisture, avoiding blockage (unlike glass fiber bags).
3. High wear resistance and cost-effectiveness: lasts 2-3 years (longer than polyester high-temperature bags), reducing replacement and maintenance costs despite the higher initial investment.
PPS also has good air permeability and a dust removal efficiency of ≥99.9%, meeting emission standards.
