Common Faults and Solutions of Air Box Pulse Dust Collectors
Air box pulse dust collectors are prone to several common faults during operation. Timely troubleshooting and proper handling can ensure stable operation.
The specific faults, causes, and solutions are as follows:
1. Low dust removal efficiency:
Causes include blocked or damaged filter bags, equipment air leakage, and improper cleaning parameters. Solutions: Clean or replace filter bags;
check and repair seals (e.g., rubber gaskets) to eliminate air leakage points; adjust cleaning frequency (increase) and pressure (optimize) to ensure thorough cleaning.
2. High equipment resistance:
Causes include severe filter bag blockage, ash hopper blockage, and flue gas pipeline blockage. Solutions: Strengthen pulse cleaning (increase frequency/pressure) or replace filter bags;
break and clean hardened dust in the ash hopper; clear obstacles from the flue gas pipeline.
3. Pulse valve failure (no action):
Causes include solenoid valve damage, air pipeline blockage or air leakage, and stuck pulse valve core. Solutions: Repair or replace the solenoid valve; clean the air pipeline and repair air leakage;
disassemble and clean the pulse valve core to remove impurities.
4. Ash discharge device jamming:
Causes include dust hardening in the ash hopper, wear of the ash discharge valve, and motor failure. Solutions: Break hardened dust and clean the ash hopper; replace the worn ash discharge valve;
repair or replace the motor.
5. Fan vibration and noise:
Causes include dust accumulation on the fan impeller, bearing wear, and fan imbalance. Solutions: Clean the fan impeller to remove dust; replace the bearing and add lubricating oil;
calibrate the fan balance to reduce vibration.
