How to Extend the Service Life of Mine Dust Collectors

Mine dust collectors work in harsh environments, and extending their service life requires comprehensive measures covering installation, operation, maintenance, and other links. 

The key measures are as follows:

1. Standard installation:

 Install the dust collector in a dry, well-ventilated area (avoid humid and corrosive environments); ensure the equipment is level and fixed firmly to avoid vibration damage during operation. The connection of pipelines should be tight to prevent dust leakage and air leakage.

2. Select suitable components: 

Use wear-resistant, anti-corrosion components (e.g., FMS filter bags, stainless steel box, wear-resistant linings) to adapt to the strong abrasiveness and humidity of mine dust.

3. Standard operation: 

Follow the start-up/shutdown procedures; do not start the equipment without pre-inspection or overload operation. Adjust the cleaning parameters according to the dust concentration to avoid excessive or insufficient cleaning.

4. Regular maintenance:

 Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance in accordance with the manual. Focus on cleaning the ash hopper, inspecting filter bags and pulse valves, and lubricating the fan. Replace vulnerable parts (e.g., seals, filter bags) in a timely manner.

5. Prevent explosion and corrosion: 

For flammable and explosive mine dust, ensure the explosion-proof device works normally; regularly check the anti-static grounding. For humid mines, do a good job in equipment moisture-proof and anti-corrosion treatment (e.g., regular painting, drying).

6. Train operators: 

Train operators to master the operation and maintenance skills of the dust collector; prohibit incorrect operation (e.g., arbitrary adjustment of parameters, neglect of maintenance), which causes equipment damage.
